13 Weeks!!!

Well I am officially in the second trimester of pregnancy. The one where you feel great, the nausea and exhaustion leave and you feel the best you have ever felt...right????? Well its so wrong for me!!!! The nausea is gone (has been since about 8 weeks) but I have another wonderful symptom.....dizzyness/fainting. It is especially bad in the morning. I almost fainted yesterday mornign in the shower, I had to shower sitting down. Thankfully we have a bench inthe shower. My mom had mentioned that fainting was one of her symptoms when she was pregnatn but I thought that happened early on and then was gone by the second trimester. Not for me!! I did google it yesterday and it is very normal. There is increased blood in my body now and your blood pressure is at its lowest in T2. So with that info, I am trying to move very slowly when getting up, eating some crackers before getting into the shower and very slowly adjusting my body to the hot water of a shower. It actually worked this morning. 1 down, however many mroe to go!!!!!

I still can't feel the baby but my stomach is getting bigger. The only annoying thing is I just look like I am getting fat. I don't actually look pregnant. I wish it looked like a baby belly!!! Apparently inthe next 4 weeks it will look more like a baby belly and just pop!!! I can't wait. I am going to have to go buy some maternity clothes soon cuz my pants are just too uncomfortable. It is like heaven when I get home and can put on sweats!! Too bad, I can't wear them to work.

DH and I have been getting ready for Christmas and we are mostly ready. We leave for Regina on Christmas eve and are there until the 27th. We are celebrating Christmas with my family on Dec 19th and I can't wait. It should be a lot of fun!!!

We were hit with a big snowstorm last weekend which had us snowed in our community....not fun at all!! We did manage to leave on sunday cuz we were going stir crazy!!!

Baby Stuff

Sorry I have been MIA for a while. Things got sorta bad after I last posted. The morning sickness, or all-day sickness kicked in and didn't leave me till a week ago. I didn't ever throw up but I felt horribly nauseaus all the time. And all I wanted to do was sleep. Poor Jackson got so neglected cuz I did not feel like walking him or anything. I felt so bad. And now the weather has turned cold so I don't feel like it either but I have to force myself too. It iwll be good for both of us!!!

Well we made our first baby purchase last weekend. We bought a carseat. The one we bought is the Graco Snugride 32. It will last the baby for almost a year!!! It is more expensive but I won't have to buy a new carseat when Baby H is 6 months old.
Here is a pic...nevermind it won't work. Anyways you can go to www.gracobaby.com and check it out. The pattern we got is zurich and its brown and green. Totally neutral so it can be used for a couple babies no matter what gender they are.

Other exciting news is that we had our first ultrasound. It was so awesome to see the baby. It was moving around like crazy!!! It was weird cuz I couldn't feel it at all but it was moving like crazy. and talking too, which was neat to see!!

I am going to try to keep up and post a few times a week. Tomorrow I will post all my stats that I have been writing down. I think here is a better place to keep them!!
